You need to be a HODLer of these

• 1–3 years of experience in information security, with exposure to cloud security concepts.
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and platforms (AWS preferred).
• Awareness of cloud-native security controls such as identity management, data security, WAF, encryption, Kubernetes, containers, network firewalls, and API gateways.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms, PKI infrastructure, and cloud-native key management systems.
• Exposure to at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), with an understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• Exposure to DevOps principles, tools, and their intersection with cloud architecture.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and development best practices.
• Awareness of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and attack vectors.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to writing documentation such as guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Basic understanding of Zero Trust principles and security controls.
• Interest in risk management and compliance related to cloud platforms.
• Strong eagerness to learn, with a proactive attitude and sense of responsibility.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support senior engineers.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS benchmarks is a plus.

You will be mining through these tasks

• Contribute to building a security-focused culture by collaborating with business and technology teams.
• Assist in developing scripts and automation to improve processes, fix misconfigurations, and conduct basic security assessments.
• Support in writing and implementing enforcement policies to strengthen cloud security posture.
• Participate in responding to and investigating cloud security incidents under guidance.
• Contribute to the management and monitoring of cloud network and security infrastructure on AWS.
• Perform vulnerability assessments of cloud infrastructure and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Assist in developing and maintaining cloud security baselines as per product requirements.
• Support efforts to secure applications and data platforms, including CI/CD pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Document security operations, processes, and procedures for service delivery.
• Collaborate with team members during audits and assist in performing required security reviews.
• Help integrate systems and services with security tools and platforms.
• Continuously learn and support the team in security initiatives, including maintaining certifications and participating in threat modeling activities.
