Key Responsibilities

• Manage Git/Bitbucket/Github: branching strategies, tagging/merging, git command line, pull requests, Jenkins integration, repo creation, Bitbucket APIs, SSH key setup, and keytool.
• Utilize Linux command line: profile, bashrc, nc, package managers, top, file editing, sed, grep, curl, wget, expect.
• Administer Jenkins/Cloudbees CI: access controls, upgrades, multibranch pipelines, CICD setup, credential management, plugins, managed files, node labeling.
• Set up and maintain Sonarqube: quality gates, custom profiles, upgrades, maintenance.
• Manage Nexus: repo creation, upgrades, cleanup policies, access controls, proxy repositories, image registry setup.
• Configure Maven: pom.xml files, mvn repos, lifecycle, goals/targets, profiles, Nexus integration/authentication.
• Build and debug Node/ReactJS projects with npm, understand package.json, and integrate with tools like Nexus.
• Work with Docker/Kubernetes: Dockerfile creation, replicas, commands, ingress, nodeport/loadbalancer/ClusterIP, kubectl commands, labels, namespaces, Kubernetes resources, taint/tolerance, pod affinity, init containers, liveness/readiness probes.
• Create Helm charts: command line options, best practices, standards.
• Automate with Perl/Python.
• Utilize AWS: IAM, EKS, EKS Fargate, EBS, EFS, S3, ECS, Lambda, EC2, VPCs, subnets, AZs, Regions, Route53, ELB, CloudWatch, SSM.
• Set up PROD/DR for high availability.
• Manage SSL certificates and termination procedures.
• Use security scanning/code quality tools: Fortify, Qualys, Sonarqube, NexusIQ.
• Automate tasks with Shell/Groovy scripting.
• Develop Jenkins shared libraries.
• Monitor with tools like Newrelic, AppDynamics, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK.
• Work with XML, YAML, JSON using scripts.
• Implement configuration as code.
• Provide production support and knowledge of ServiceNow/ITSM processes.
• Set up DevOps tools on EKS and migrate from on-prem to cloud.
• Write Ansible playbooks for automation.
• Set up high availability and resilient environments.

Good to Have

• Autoscaling configuration (HPA, VPA, auto recovery).
• Docker image signing, Helm chart signing.
• Secrets/Key management, Vault integration.
• Jenkins dynamic slave configuration, running slaves on Kubernetes.
• AWS Secrets Manager.
• Migration knowledge: Nexus to JFrog Artifactory.
• Deployment strategies: blue/green, canary deployments.
• AI/ML model for self-healing.
• GitOps knowledge.
• Experience with CloudBees products (CI, CD/RO, Analytics, Feature Management).
• Bitbucket and Sonar SAAS.
