JOB PURPOSE:

Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids, and business case analysis to support the organization and leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handling and leading MSBI projects with extensive exposure in creating reporting solutions, data visualization, data analysis, and business insights.
• Ability to handle the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Working with relational database management systems (like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
• Writing T-SQL statements, stored procedures, and views using industry best practices for security and efficiency.
• Creating, testing, and executing SQL language code.
• Writing user and technical documentation.
• Dealing with global customers to gather requirements and translate them into solutions using the necessary skills.
• Working with developers to translate requirements into functional and technical design documents and follow established Waterfall/Agile SDLC processes for testing and implementation.
• Translating data into meaningful information and performing proof of concept analyses.
• Investigating and responding to routine or standard requests.
• Solving complex problems and developing innovative solutions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Producing and managing the delivery of activity and value analytics to external stakeholders and clients.
• Using business intelligence, data visualization, and query, analytic, and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis, and interpret data.
• Working on predominately descriptive and regression-based analytics and leveraging subject matter expert views in the design of their analytics and algorithms.
• Conducting analysis, performing normalization operations, and assuring data quality.
• Creating specifications to bring data into a common structure.
• Creating product specifications and reporting models.

CORE SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Experience in writing T-SQL statements, stored procedures, and views using industry best practices for security and efficiency.
• Creating, testing, and executing SQL language code.
• Experience in database design, programming, and implementation using SQL.
• Extensive experience with reporting or visualization tools (SSRS, Tableau, Excel, Power Query).
• Working experience with MSBI Tools: MSBI (SSIS, SSAS).
• Well-developed written and verbal communications and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with minimal support/mentoring.
• Able to write user and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience dealing with global customers to gather requirements and translate them into solutions using the necessary skills.
• Working with developers to translate requirements into functional and technical design documents and follow established Waterfall/Agile SDLC processes for testing and implementation.
• Translating data into meaningful information and performing proof of concept analyses.
• Investigating and responding to routine or standard requests.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Certificate or Diploma in Data Analytics.

EXPERIENCE:

• 0 – 1 years of experience in data preparation, data management, data visualization, data analysis.

NATURE OF JOB:

• Analytics & Business Intelligence.

WORK HOURS:

• Trainees should be willing to work in the Eastern Standard Time (US time).

LOCATION:

• Pune, MH. (Currently WFH)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

• Training for 6 months, confirmation based on performance during the training.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:

• Laptop, Broadband connection, and a space to work without disturbance at home.
