What you will do

You will be working closely with the founders to shape the direction of our technology and take our product from proof-of-concept to product launch. In particular,

• you will be responsible for the implementation of the B2B-part of our property management platform,
• work on both the frontend and the backend,
• actively shape the UX and UI of the product,
• implement features like role based access and real-time notifications,
• be responsible for the deployment of the production software with Docker and AWS,
• onboard and mentor new developers as we extend the engineering team,
• be responsible for managing your tasks and setting your goals by yourself.

Qualifications we’re looking for

• You are a mid/senior level software developer with at least 4 years of experience in full stack web development.
• You know at least two backend languages from the following list: Typescript/Node.js , Java, Python, Clojure, Elixir and a corresponding major framework.
• You have solid experience in building dynamic SPA’s with React.js and the rest of the ecosystem like webpack, sass/less, html, plain old JS, yarn, …add your favorite
• You are not intimidated by DevOps tasks and you are familiar with Docker, Nginx, AWS, GitLab CI.
• You have experience with MongoDB, DocumentDB or similar noSQL database.
• Understanding of user’s perspective
• You are constantly keeping an eye on new tech, you adopt new things fast if needed
• Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated
• Proficiency in English and German
• A strong plus: You are interested in functional programming, ideally you know at least one functional language like Clojure, any other LISP family language, Elixir, Haskell, F#,…
• A strong plus: You comment your code.
