The Customer Platform and Infrastructure group is responsible for providing unified AI platform capabilities across all Electronic Arts franchises. From model training to deployment, we utilize a modern, cloud-based tech stack with best-in-class tools to provide a platform empowering the future state of game development and player experience.

Location-Hyderabad

You will report to Manager, Software Engineering

The Challenge Ahead:

The role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing platform infrastructure to enable scalable model training and deployment, while also integrating AI capabilities into existing systems. The engineer will contribute to platform stability and performance by developing tools for real-time monitoring, analyzing key metrics, and proactively addressing issues. This position will support the delivery of critical AIP OKRs and the broader success of AI/GenAI across CPE.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure to support scalable AI/Gen AI model training and deployment.
• Integrating AI/Gen AI capabilities into existing software systems and applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Developing tools and systems for real-time monitoring of platform performance, analyzing key metrics, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement or issue resolution.
• Participating in code reviews to uphold code quality, maintain consistency, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Contributing to feature development and operational enhancements for the AI/GenAI platform.
• Enhancing platform stability, reliability, and observability through robust engineering practices and intelligent automation.

Qualification:

• Track record of having developed novel AI/ML algorithms and Gen AI solutions
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Strong programming skills (object-oriented and functional paradigms) and Pytorch or TensorFlow experienc
• Experience with large-scale data and distributed systems – Experience with Apache Hadoop or Spark a plus
• Experience with SQL and MPP databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
