Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- High level scope will include following tasks:
- Document publishing and metadata preparation & it’s optimisation in Sirus Database (Shell subsurface catalogue)
- Data mining and uploading content to Govt Data Repository or (similar partner)
- Member of Subsurface Document & Records Management Team
- External and internal Information Management (IM) compliance
- Assisting with user enquiries
- Quality control of published information
- Identify data gaps and engage with stakeholders to improve its quality
- Data reporting and statistics of published documents
Skills Required
- Recognised degree-level qualification in Information and Library Science or similar discipline.
- 0-2 years in Information Management (IM), Library Science or Document Control/Documents and Records Management.
- IM Skills/experience
- Knowledge of document lifecycles within business
- Understanding of Information Management theory; Systems of Cataloguing and Classification
- Stakeholder engagement and process improvement
- Business Analyst Skillset. Comfortable in challenging the business, saying “no”, and intervening/offering alternative solutions following best practices where necessary
- Knowledge of Upstream/Subsurface business processes and document lifecycles would be added advantage
