Key Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the principles of DevOps methodologies.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers to automate and streamline development processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and applications.
• Work with version control systems such as Git to manage code repositories.
• Configure and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Learn configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate server provisioning and configuration.
• Assist in the implementation and management of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during off-hours as needed.
• Document processes, procedures, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and repeatability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant internships, projects, or certifications related to DevOps are a plus.
