Application Support Engg must be able to effectively support applications in web development frameworks, DevSecOps, serverless computing/architecture and cloud technologies Candidate should have strong background in Java/react.js, Springboot, Spring Framework, Oracle /SQL/NoSQL databases. Good understanding for web based client facing application is needed.

Major Duties:

1. Monitor and troubleshoot application issues in production
2. Smoke test (SOD/EOD/SOW/EOW/Weekend/ DR / Release)
3. Leads troubleshooting, analysis, and solution of unexpected systems behaviors that impact the quality of service
4. Liaise with stakeholders (tech and business) in problem resolution
5. Communicate issue/resolution status (written and verbal) to project team and management
6. Active Batch monitoring 24X7
7. Active Monitoring INC queues and take necessary action as per SOP
8. Active App monitoring – Tools (APV/Catchpoint/Dynatrace) and take necessary action as per SOP
9. 1st POC for Service delivery team , Computer Ops for any issue. – On call Support
10. Disaster Recovery and Patch testing
11. Good to have knowledge on public cloud (Azure)
12. Access review/Audit activity
13. Work with senior staff and management on service delivery improvements
a. Raising INC for Upstream and downstream in case SLA miss and actively monitoring for upgrading/downgrading.
b. Resolving INCs related to job abends after successful run
c. Sending Batch Status Report.
