Role Description
As an SQL Developer you will design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and queries to support data-driven applications. Your role will involve creating efficient database solutions, optimizing SQL queries, and ensuring seamless integration between databases and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance data systems that power AI, ML, and Big Data solutions.
This position is ideal for freshers passionate about database development and experienced professionals looking to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic environment.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Database Development : Design and implement SQL databases to support various applications and business needs.
- Query Optimization : Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for performance.
- Database Integration : Collaborate with developers to integrate databases with front-end and back-end applications.
- Data Analysis : Analyze data requirements and create efficient database schemas and relationships.
- Data Migration : Perform data imports, exports, and migrations between systems while maintaining data integrity.
- Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and errors.
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for database systems and queries.
- Compliance and Security : Ensure database solutions comply with industry standards and security best practices.
- SQL Expertise : Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, views, and triggers.
- Database Platforms : Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Performance Tuning : Knowledge of indexing, partitioning, and other performance optimization techniques.
- ETL Processes : Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tools and processes.
- Scripting Skills : Basic understanding of scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation.
- Data Analysis : Ability to work with large datasets and create efficient database schemas.
- Version Control : Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Certifications (Preferred) :
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals , Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate , or similar are a plus.
- Experience :
- Freshers with a strong understanding of SQL concepts and hands-on experience through projects are encouraged to apply.
- 1-5 years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a related role is preferred.
