Job Description

Looking for a BI reporting developer with at least 3-4 years of development experience in MicroStrategy reporting tool.

The job requirement of the BI developer includes and not limited to :

• Analysing requirements, designing and developing analytical projects to meet business needs
• Architect, design, develop and deliver BI/Reporting applications using MicroStrategy, and SQL.
• Development of dashboards and reports using MicroStrategy.
• Participate in technology governance group that defines best practices and make design recommendations in on-going projects.
• Closely work with DBAs to fix performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with MicroStrategy, and database administration teams for code migrations and production support.
• Supporting business users on answering complex business questions via dashboards and ad-hoc SQL queries.
• Good to have Snowflake exposure/experience on the DB side
• Troubleshoot issues as they occur, identify criticality, and impact, and provide appropriate workarounds. Mentoring junior developers regarding best practices and technology stack used to build the application.
