About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Reliability & Security Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure and applications across GCP, AWS, and Azure. This role combines the principles of SRE, DevOps, Chaos Engineering, and Penetration Testing to build and maintain resilient and secure systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Experience with chaos engineering tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, OSCP, CEH).
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Experience with cloud security tools and services.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
