Role Description

This is a remote, 3-month internship role for a WordPress Developer Intern at GenHub Innovations. The intern will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Ensuring website responsiveness, performance, and security.
• Customizing themes, plugins, and WordPress functionalities.
• Collaborating with the design and development teams to create visually appealing and high-performing websites.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing websites for SEO and user experience.

Qualifications

✔ Ability to create fully functional e-commerce websites using WordPress and WooCommerce, including product listing, payment gateway integration, order management, and user-friendly design.
✔ Knowledge of WordPress development, including themes, plugins, and customizations.
✔ Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
✔ Understanding of UI/UX design principles and website optimization.
✔ Familiarity with SEO best practices for WordPress.
✔ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website performance issues.
✔ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
✔ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
