Role Description

Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant –Mainframe Tester QA

We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer/Lead with automation testing, UI PATH automation, API testing, BDD & data quality assurance to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with UI PATH automation and have proficiency in Selenium BDD for automation tasks. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing automation tests, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data, and working in BDD environment to design and execute test cases. You will be responsible for developing and completing automated tests, including integration/API tests and end-to-end testing using JavaScript frameworks such as UI Path automation testing.

Responsibilities  

• Manual QA with Advanced SQL Knowledge .
• Mainframe QA Experience is good to have.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript programming language
• Good experience with BDD Cucumber for QA delivery.
• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using TypeScript and UI Path automation/Cypress.
• Developing and maintaining JavaScript-based test automation frameworks for web applications.
• Responsible for improving automation for all project deliverables and for following defined processes
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in an agile environment to ensure high quality software delivery.
• Design, develop and maintain BDD test cases using Karate API test automation and other frameworks.
• Perform API testing, ensuring robust and scalable integration of services.
• Create, maintain, and optimize UI Path automationbased test scripts for automation.
• Perform data quality testing, ensuing the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure test coverage and continuous improvement in the testing process.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in collaboration with development teams, providing detailed report on bugs and failures.
• Ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines integrate with automated testing solutions.

Minimum Qualifications  

• Software testing experience with of relevant automation testing experience.
• Hands-on development of JavaScript-based automation framework with UI Path automation, Cypress, WebDriver IO, Jasmine, Protractor.
• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in API testing and automation using tools like Karate, postman or similar.
• Strong programming skills for test automation using UI Path automation
• Expertise in BDD test case design and tools like Cucumber, Behave or similar.
• Solid understanding of data quality testing principles and practices.
• Hands on experience in an agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills  

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in a consulting role or client-facing environment is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent are a plus.
