Description

• Design / Build custom test fixtures and tools
• Design / Implement test automation infrastructure
• Subject matter expert on Honeywell Smart Metering Products, testing strategy & testing processes.
• Create test plan, that flushes out test strategy, coverage requirements, test scenarios and the resource needs for a project. Review test plans with cross functional team (Development and other Test Engineers) to ensure proper coverage for each feature / product.
• Create and review of detailed test plans to ensure coverage and quality
• Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done
• Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.
• Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software
• Able to work in Firmware Verification, System / Product Verification or Solution Verification
• Work with cross functional agile teams located at multiple Honeywell locations around the globe

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or Computer Science
• 1 to 2 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation
• 0.6-1 years’ Experience with Object Oriented programming
• Python Scripting
• C++/C#
• Experience with software management tools ( SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, etc. )
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision
• Experience with Embedded Systems (testing or developing)
• Electric Metering Experience ( ANSI, C12.22, DLMS)
• Network Communication & protocols (Cellular, IPv4, IPv6, NBiOT, RF )
• PC troubleshooting / maintenance experience
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools ( Jira, Rally, etc. )
• Hardware test, design, or debug experience. Ability to solder
• Willing to work as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Team Lead

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
