Job Description

We are looking for a Specialist with a keen eye for Technology and support application requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across a business. Application Support jobs seek candidates with both business skills and technical IT knowledge, and demands an ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

– Understand and support Business and Technical requirements
– Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
– Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
– Assisting with systems integrations
– Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
– Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
– Identifying and resolving technical issues
– Managing coordination at Global level where required
– Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
– Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
– Developing reports for teams across the business
– Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimization

– Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends
– Identifying and Evaluate Technology Solutions
– Problem Solve and Troubleshoot
– Identify Potential Issues
– Work with Cross-Functional Teams
– Provided 2nd level application support to Corporate/Divisional end users via telephone, email and office visits
– Coordinate, develop and maintain Application Support standards and procedures and other documentation as required

– Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
– Listening ability and patience
– Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
– Practical SharePoint Online product experience – configuring, administration, development and deploying solutions
