DESCRIPTION

The ROW (Rest Of World, which includes India, Japan, and Emerging Countries) APEX SHARP team is driving several innovations in Amazon’s Supply Chain right from our fulfillment centers to our transportation network, to bring the world’s most customer centric experience to ROW. The UPx and Placement BI team build up and monitor critical metrics across UPB, UPPD, Local Assignment, FC transfer etc., and conducts advanced data analysis to identify system algorithm improvement opportunities.

Key job responsibilities

This is an analytical position that provides Supply Chain data support. This role will work with multiple business, BI teams to develop and maintain ad hoc/regular business reports and to work on relevant analytical supports.

We’re looking for customer-focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, hands-on BA, who would work closely with internal and external stakeholders on:

1) Page 0 data pipeline build-up, maintenance and enhancement, to ensure correct and timely publish and support leaders’ review
2) Translating business changes and initiatives into specific analytical questions that can be answered with available data.
3) Metrics pipeline creation and maintenance to feed the projection model in a scalable method.
4) Metrics related deep dive, call-outs on weekly and monthly basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
– 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
– Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Knowledge of efficiently using BI tools ie Tableau/QuickSight
– Experience in supply chain, e-commerce or retail
– Knowledge of scripting ie Python/R
